About Us

As we prepare to open our doors, we're seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about serving high-quality coffee and creating a welcoming space for our guests. We value consistency, hospitality, and teamwork, and we're looking for a Lead / Head Barista who takes pride in their craft and leads by example.

Role Overview

The Lead / Head Barista is responsible for maintaining coffee quality, supporting daily café operations, and guiding the barista team. This role blends hands-on barista work with leadership, training, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso and coffee beverages consistently
  • Lead barista shifts and set the tone for service and hospitality
  • Train, coach, and support baristas on drink preparation and workflow
  • Maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brew equipment (daily care & basic troubleshooting)
  • Monitor coffee quality, dialing in espresso and brew recipes as needed
  • Assist with ordering, inventory, and minimizing waste
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with ownership/management about operations and team needs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of barista experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
  • Strong espresso knowledge and milk steaming skills
  • Passion for specialty coffee and customer service
  • Ability to lead calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable giving feedback and training others
  • Flexible availability, including mornings and weekends
