Carleton HCS is seeking 
GP-Psychotherapists

and 
Physicians with expertise in ADHD assessment and management

, particularly within a post-secondary population. Ideal candidates provide integrated care including psychotherapy and medication management. Clinical experience in 
anxiety, depression, eating disorders, insomnia (CBT-I), and the use of evidence-based therapies such as CBT, CPT and DBT

is highly valued.

HCS operates Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm and offers both appointment-based and online booking options. Clinicians benefit from onsite laboratory and pharmacy services, access to same-day counselling, and a collegial, collaborative environment. We offer flexible schedules (full or half-day clinics), a fee-for-service model, and competitive overhead. Our team is supported by experienced RNs, RPNs, referral staff, EMR support, and dedicated billing personnel.

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for GP-Psychotherapists / ADHD Specialists located in Ottawa, ON. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans for ADHD and other mental health challenges, delivering psychotherapy sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

  • Current CPSO licensure and CMPA coverage
  • Demonstrated skills in psychotherapy (CBT, CPT, DBT, CBT-I), ADHD management, and student mental health
  • Experience with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and related conditions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide service in additional languages considered an asset
