About the Role:
We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter, mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Digital Corrugate Production team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement working culture.
The Esko Table Operator plays a critical role by helping produce Digital Items and working as a team in a manufacturing environment. We are hiring at our Mitchell Island location at 11300 Twigg Place on our afternoon shift:
- Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm

Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating our Esko tables to cut Digital items using different types of Corrugate accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure Digital Items are cut correctly using the proper files and measurements
- Navigate through the computer to select proper files and set up Esko Tables with correct measurements
- Utilize small tools to change Crease Wheels and Cutting Blades
- Be able to load tables with board (helper available)
- Pull board off from tables and strip off trimmed areas
- Palletize orders, wrap, strap, and label
- Operate Pallet Jacks to move materials
- Read and understand Job Instructions, follow instructions as needed
- Complete orders in a timely fashion and be able to follow a production schedule
- Keep accurate counts
- Responsible for the quality of products manufactured
- Able to follow company rule and regulations
Qualifications And Skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to work well with people in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Desire to learn and succeed
- Good organization skills and reliable work habits
- Basic computer skills
- Previous machine operating experience is preferred
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
