Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental softwares.
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology.
- Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Strong skills in dental assisting techniques, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
