Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Real Estate Manager to oversee property operations, manage tenant relationships, and coordinate leasing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience in property management, and excellent customer service abilities. This role offers an opportunity to lead property portfolios, optimize operational efficiency, and contribute to the growth of our real estate division.

Duties

  • Manage daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring maintenance, safety, and compliance standards are met.
  • Coordinate leasing activities including marketing vacant units, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements.
  • Utilize Yardi and other property management software to track rent payments, maintenance requests, and tenant information.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems for all property records, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Negotiate lease terms and renewals with prospective and existing tenants to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as document preparation, report generation, and compliance documentation.
  • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for scheduling repairs and tracking maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administration.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is highly preferred.
  • Strong office experience with skills in data entry, filing, and administrative support.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to negotiate lease agreements effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of property management best practices and legal regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance scheduling is desirable. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of property operation while fostering positive tenant relationships and supporting organizational growth through effective management practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
