Overview

Shawarma Royale is seeking a talented Chef to lead our kitchen operations and elevate the art of shawarma making. This role is perfect for someone passionate about authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and culinary creativity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in restaurant management and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu creation, food preparation, and team leadership, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Train new kitchen employees on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and restaurant policies.
  • Assist in managing costs related to food production while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the restaurant or food service industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
