Duties
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, or similar platforms.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMware, and related virtualization technologies.
- Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and private clouds like OpenStack.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or PowerShell scripts for scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Monitor system performance and application health with tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Log analysis solutions.
- Ensure security best practices are followed by managing firewalls, identity & access management (IAM), DNS configurations, and cloud security protocols.
- Collaborate with development teams on requirements gathering for enterprise software projects utilizing Java (Spring Boot), C#, .NET, Ruby on Rails, Python, Groovy, Perl, , or C++.
- Perform system testing, debugging, incident response & recovery procedures to maintain high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage version control systems including GitHub, GitLab repositories; oversee release management and software deployment processes.
- Support IT infrastructure components such as WebSphere, Weblogic servers; databases like MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft & T-SQL), Oracle; and web services APIs.
- Conduct incident management activities including troubleshooting network issues (TCP/IP), WAN/LAN configurations, DNS resolution; ensure compliance with IT project management standards within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in continuous integration/delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Perl; experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
- Familiarity with enterprise software including WebSphere, Weblogic; databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server; RESTful APIs & web services.
- Hands-on experience managing cloud security protocols and network infrastructure including firewalls and DNS configurations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues involving distributed systems architecture; adept at log analysis using Splunk or Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum; experience with requirements gathering and software project management tools like Jira or TFS.
- Strong understanding of system administration across UNIX/Linux environments; experience supporting disaster recovery plans and incident response procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
