Bridge Masters is an independent nano craft brewery focused on bold, hop-forward ales and experimental small-batch releases. We take pride in quality, creativity, and community, and we're looking for an Assistant Brewer to join our production team to help keep the good beer flowing

Job Summary

The Assistant Brewer supports the Head Brewer in all aspects of beer production—from brewing, to cleaning, to packaging finished beer. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for craft beer. You will work closely with the Head Brewer to ensure each batch meets our quality standards and production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all brewing operations, including wort production, cellaring, dry hopping, and transfers
  • Operate, clean, and maintain brewhouse and cellar equipment
  • Monitor fermentation, perform gravity checks, and record data accurately
  • Prepare and package beer in kegs and cans
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, lines, and equipment according to SOPs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management of raw materials and supplies
  • Participate in sensory panels and quality control procedures
  • Occasionally represent the brewery at events or tastings

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ year of professional brewing experience (or relevant beverage production experience) is preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong understanding of brewing processes, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, and wet environments
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
  • Passion for craft beer and eagerness to learn
  • Vehicle and valid driver's license to perform occasional deliveries within 50km radius
