Analyst, Compensation

We are currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our growing team of rewards innovators. In this role, you will get to consult with business managers and HR leaders to make sound choices about pay with frequent supervision. This position will execute all types of compensation processes and projects, to include Merit, Annual Bonus, and Stock Administration and short-term incentive administration. In addition to the normal cadence of core processes, this position will perform ad-hoc basic analyses as needed.
What you will do – Essential Responsibilities
- With supervision, analyze market data and internal data to make recommendations on leveling, salary ranges, and salary recommendations to business and HR managers
- Provide education to business managers on position pay plans, compensation processes, and internal resources
- Execute and improve core processes like annual merit, bonus, and stock award administration and short-term incentive administration
- Partner with key stakeholders and other Compensation Analysts to drive completion of compensation projects
- Partner with HRIS and Payroll Systems teams to support thoughtful execution of compensation programs
- With supervision, perform compensation data analysis and reporting for business and HR stakeholders leveraging the HRIS system and MS Excel
- Ensures compliance of all compensation programs with federal, state, and local regulations
- Complete other related duties, analysis and projects as assigned
Purpose of the role

As a member of this team, you will use your analytical capabilities, your attention to detail, and your communication skills to execute core compensation processes with accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to reason and communicate compensation guidelines and detailed compensation information to all levels of Associates in a professional manner.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to execute data-entry tasks and multi-step processes within incentive calculation systems and company's HRIS.
- Ability to independently research compensation questions, pay issues, or process gaps.
- Ability to establish schedules and timelines to achieve company expectations.
- Ability to convey a professional and positive image to applicants and Associates.
Education and/or Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- At least six months of work experience, with a preference for experience in Compensation, Analytics, Accounting, Finance or Payroll
- Basic MS Excel skills
- Basic MS PowerPoint skills
