The ideal BDC (Business Development Call Centre) Representative Candidate assists the Service Department in achieving their service and business goals. Our BDC representatives are the first point of contact for our customers- helping schedule appointments, answer questions, and ensure every guest receives the exceptional service experience our dealerships are known for.

Qualifications:

  • Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Automotive industry experience is a definite plus.
  • Strong commitment to customer follow-up
  • A desire to learn, practice and deliver a remarkable guest experience
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills and a talented telephone communicator
  • Computer skills are a must (experience with X-time annd/or PBS is preferred)
  • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
  • Must have positive, energetic personality and possess a strong work ethic
  • Terrific written communication skills with excellence in spelling and grammar
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated

Duties:

  • Promptly responding to and following up with customer inquiries via phone and internet
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
  • Be efficient. Handle call volumes knowledgeably providing excellent service every time
  • Create appointments for guests based on their time, location preference and vehicle needs
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with proficiency, with confidence and expressed in genuinely sincere tone.
  • Be able to soft sell in a customer service environment
  • Ability to multitask between multiple computer programs while engaging with the guest
  • Consistently maintain performance-related requirements including but not limited to, average handle time, attendance, quality assurance, and appointments

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive Service background preferred
  • Call Center background preferred
