Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, utilizing experience with POS systems, food handling, and customer service. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Barista skills a must - willing to train the right people
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ensure proper food handling and adherence to sanitation protocols
  • Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly
  • Support team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and evenings as needed
  • Hospitality background or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
