Digital Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a digital marketing coordinator for our growing independent perfume brand. If you love telling stories through photo and video, have a keen aesthetic sense and love the senses we would love to hear from you. We are a small brand so the successful candidate must be able to plan and coordinate as well as create branded content across social channels, paid social ads and email. 

Strategizing and planning marketing campaigns.

  • Planning and organizing marketing campaigns that are on brand, effective and in line with established sales goals and business directives. We are looking to engage & educate our audience and create a community of people that feel the benefit of taking the time to care for themselves.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media content plan across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging platforms as needed.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, stories, and copy) that aligns with Paraphrase Perfume marketing goals.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies based on insights and trends.

Email Marketing

  • Plan, schedule and create emails in line with Paraphrase Perfume marketing needs.
  • Test and refine our email strategies to cultivate high engagement with our email audiences.

Digital Advertising & Analytics

  • Working with media buyers to strategize winning ad creative.
  • Creating ad assets including video, still images and copy.
  • Track and analyze digital performance data, creating reports with actionable insights to enhance marketing efforts.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising (Facebook Ads, Google Ads) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Understanding of the perfume landscape, particularly niche/ independent perfume brands is a benefit.

Local Edmonton based candidates preferred but remote candidates considered.
