Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Canmore Downtown Hostel in Canmore. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests, ensuring they enjoy a memorable stay in our beautiful location.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of dormitories and private rooms to ensure a spotless environment.
  • Manage laundry operations efficiently to keep linens and towels fresh.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, bathrooms, and guest facilities.
  • Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold the hostel's standards of hospitality.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests during their stay.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
