As an established industry leader and growing rapidly across Canada, we're seeking an Associate Advisor – someone who is willing to learn and perform all the functions of a financial planner while being mentored by a seasoned Advisor. 

What You Will Do

Provide an exceptional client experience Conduct regular meetings and calls with clientsAdhere to and maintain compliance requirements of the businessProvide advice and account / policy maintenance services using our business planning processesUse our financial planning software to build and update financial plansPrepare required paperwork and process accurately Monitor investment portfolios on an ongoing basis for suitabilityEducate clients about all the products, solutions, and services Continuum providesCollaborate with the team to deliver on team goals, provide coverage and train new team membersRelationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term client relationshipsAbility to leverage technology to enhance client experiences Adaptable to growing business and changes in processesStrong knowledge of savings, investment and insurance products/services and financial planning concepts and an understanding of the regulatory climateStrong desire for goal-oriented compensationAbility to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients

What You Will Bring

Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field Minimum 2 years of experience working within the financial services industryBoth MFDA licensed and LLQP licensed required. If only 1 license, willing to obtain second license.Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset

The base salary for this position is between  $57,100 - $ 85,600 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
