Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President, the Sales & Technical Support Specialist is responsible for developing, supporting, and assisting reseller partners and professional clients across Canada.
This is a hybrid role: approximately 70% of tasks are performed at the office and 30% on the road (client visits, demos, training sessions, events, trade shows). The candidate must be willing to travel regularly within Canada, and internationally when required (specialized training, international expos). A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
The position combines technical product knowledge with business development and involves close collaboration with both internal and external sales teams—particularly for preparing quotes, following up with customers, organizing product demonstrations, and setting up training sessions. The specialist contributes directly to sales growth in the Pro AV, broadcast, education, and content production sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound requests from resellers, integrators, studios, and specialty retailers.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product presentations.
- Follow up with clients regarding product launches and ongoing promotions.
- Support internal and external sales team members:
- Client follow-ups
- Quote preparation
- Product demos
- Technical training
- Maintain regular communication in both French and English, ensuring post-sales support and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the marketing team.
- Participate/host product training sessions (online or at trade shows) and share knowledge with the team.
- Travel (≈ 30%) for client visits, demos, events, and training sessions within Canada.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Perfect bilingualism (FR/EN), spoken and written.
- Excellent understanding of professional video workflows:
- HDMI, SDI, 12G-SDI, NDI, SRT, RTMP
- Capture, encoding, recording, live streaming
- Concepts of latency, bandwidth, compression, IP networking
- PTZ cameras, monitors, encoders, converters, I/O interfaces
- Understanding of inter-brand compatibility (AVoIP, Dante AV, NDI|HX, UVC, UAC, etc.).
- Strong command of technical vocabulary used in production environments: studio, field, events, education.
- Comfortable with production/streaming tools: OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams, YouTube Studio, etc.
- Excellent communication and technical explanation skills.
- Strong attention to detail in managing pipeline, CRM, and quote follow-up.
- Proficiency with office tools: Excel, Outlook, CRM (HubSpot, Zoho…), Teams, Notion, Google Workspace.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales or sales coordination (ideally in a technology or AV-related field).
- B2B experience in the Pro AV industry strongly preferred.
- Passion for video, capture, streaming, and digital content creation.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
- Autonomy, teamwork spirit, and technical curiosity.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external reps and partners.

Description du poste
Relevant du Vice-président, le ou la Spécialiste ventes & soutien technique assure le développement, le support et l'accompagnement des partenaires revendeurs ainsi que des clients professionnels à travers le Canada.
Ce rôle est hybride : environ 70 % des tâches sont effectuées au bureau et 30 % sur la route (visites clients, démonstrations, formations, événements, salons…). Le ou la candidat(e) doit être disposé(e) à voyager régulièrement au Canada, ainsi qu'à l'extérieur au besoin (formations spécialisées, expositions internationales). Un permis de conduire valide et un véhicule en bon état sont requis.
Le poste combine l'aspect technique et le développement commercial, et implique une collaboration étroite avec l'équipe de ventes interne et externe, notamment pour la préparation de devis, le suivi client, l'organisation de démonstrations et la mise en place de formations. Le ou la spécialiste contribue directement à la croissance des ventes dans les secteurs Pro AV, broadcast, éducation et production de contenu.
Responsabilités principales
- Gérer les demandes entrantes provenant de revendeurs, intégrateurs, studios et détaillants spécialisés.
- Élaborer et transmettre soumissions, devis et présentations produits.
- Assurer le suivi client concernant les lancements de produits et les promotions en cours.
- Soutenir les membres de l'équipe de ventes interne et externe :
- Suivi des clients
- Préparation de devis
- Démonstrations de produits
- Effectuer des formations sur nos produits (« trainings »)
- Maintenir des communications régulières en français et en anglais, assurer le suivi post-vente et la satisfaction client.
- Agir comme point de liaison entre les clients et l'équipe marketing.
- Participer/présenter des formations produits (en ligne ou en salons) et partager les connaissances avec l'équipe.
- Effectuer des déplacements (≈ 30 %) pour visites clients, démonstrations, événements et formations au Canada.
Compétences et aptitudes recherchées
- Bilinguisme parfait FR/EN, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.
- Excellente compréhension du flux vidéo professionnel :
- HDMI, SDI, 12G-SDI, NDI, SRT, RTMP
- Capture, encodage, enregistrement, diffusion en continu
- Notions de latence, bande passante, compression, réseau IP
- Caméras PTZ, moniteurs, encodeurs, convertisseurs, interfaces I/O
- Compréhension des compatibilités inter-marques (AVoIP, Dante AV, NDI|HX, UVC, UAC, etc.).
- Maîtrise du vocabulaire technique lié aux environnements de production; studio terrain, événementiel et éducation.
- Aisance avec les outils de production/diffusion : OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams, YouTube Studio, etc.
- Excellentes capacités de communication et de vulgarisation technique.
- Rigueur dans la gestion du pipeline, du CRM et du suivi de devis.

- Capacité à prioriser et à travailler dans un environnement multitâche à haut volume.
- Permis de conduire valide et disponibilité pour déplacements fréquents.
Profil recherché
- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en ventes internes ou en coordination commerciale (idéalement dans un secteur technologique ou audiovisuel).
- Expérience B2B liée à l'industrie Pro A/V fortement souhaité
- Passion pour la vidéo, la captation, le streaming et la création numérique.
