Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in food safety and kitchen operations. This role involves preparing ingredients, assisting in menu execution, and ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced environment. The Prep/Line Cook will play a vital part in delivering delicious meals that meet our standards and satisfy our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with menu planning to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Handle food safely, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the food preparation process
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste
  • Support special meal preparations as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours

Qualifications

  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Proven culinary experience with skills in cooking, food handling, and knife techniques
  • Background in restaurant or kitchen environments with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
