Job Description – Receptionist/Care Support

Mino Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated, Receptionist/Care Support to join our team and

perform in-person duties at our clinic. This role combines front desk administrative duties with being the

first point of contact for all patients. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service,

managing all front-office administrative functions, and maintaining operations. The importance of this

role is to optimize clinic efficiency and maintaining continuity of care for all patients.

Roles/Responsibilities (including, but are not limited to):

Receptionist and Intake

  • Greets patients, checks appointment booking and directs them to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Answers and directs inbound calls on a multi-line telephone system
  • Maintains and updates patient information and ensures that all required consent and disclosure forms are signed and filed
  • Manages correspondence, emails and files appropriate documentation.

Care Support

  • Works closely with clinical team to prepare consulting room between patients, schedules follow-
  • up appointments, out-patient procedures and referral to specialists
  • Escorts patients to appropriate areas as needed
  • Ensures that waiting areas and meeting rooms are clean, safe and comfortable
  • Support the care team with basic administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative or clerical role, preferably in
  • a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication, active listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask to manage multiple cases and can work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients
  • Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity
  • Computer literacy in G-Suite is necessary
  • Ability to undergo applicable screening and background checks

Time Commitment:
16 hours per month on a part-time basis (Two Saturdays per month only)

Pay:
$30/hr
