We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to help keep our commercial and residential properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general carpentry
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and complete work orders on schedule
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and safely
  • Maintain clean and organized mechanical rooms, storage areas, and workspaces
  • Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and ensure minimal downtime
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate service records
  • Support property upkeep, including minor painting, drywall repair, and fixture replacement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or property maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Valid driver's license is an asset
  • Trade certification or technical training is an advantage but not required
