We are currently seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our talented and dedicated team in Edmonton.

**The Position**

The successful applicant will work in conjunction with our sign and lighting technicians. You will deal with retail commercial building maintenance requirements of some of the top commercial brand names in Alberta. Your experience with general contracting, carpentry, painting, drywall, quotations, and renovations will help us expand our available services to our commercial clients in Calgary and beyond.

**What You Need**

To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- At least 3 years' experience in construction, general contracting, carpentry, or general building maintenance with a preference for those who have worked with commercial properties
- Some project management experience is ideal
- Desire to be on the tools
- Ability to quote simple and complex jobs
- Some exposure to the electrical or construction trades is considered an asset
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Well-developed work ethic and personal drive
- Ability to work well with others while demonstrating solid leadership skills
- A valid driver license in good standing
- Willingness to travel outside of Calgary when required
