Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration or Business Administration is an asset)
  • Relevant administrative or clerical training preferred

Experience

  • Previous experience in an office administration or administrative support role
  • Experience in a construction, industrial, or oil & gas environment is an asset

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn company-specific software and document management systems
  • Basic bookkeeping, invoicing, or payroll support experience is an asset
  • Strong typing and data entry skills

Administrative Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Accurate record-keeping and filing skills
  • Professional email communication skills

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Professional and courteous interaction with staff, clients, and vendors
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation

  • Relative to experience in this field of work
  • Hours of work: 8 – 10 hour days
  • Benefits are available after a probationary period of 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
