QUALIFICATIONS
Certification/Experience/Knowledge:
- Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, registered as DMS is required
- BLS-HCP Certificate
- Experience in all aspects of general ultrasound required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required (training delivered by Health Centre upon hire)
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focussed care delivery
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
- Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
- Good attendance and work record required
Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is an asset.
