QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Registered nurse, registered practical nurse, respiratory therapist or certified with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists is required
  • Recent experience (within 2-3 years) performing ECG's, exercise stress tests and Holter Monitor applications and scanning required
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset
  • Certified to perform EEG's is an asset
  • Current BCLS required
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention required (training delivered by Health Centre upon hire)

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be a good team player in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Basic computer skills required (Meditech, Outlook)
  • Good attendance and work record required
  • Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
  • Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
  • Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is an asset.
