Type: Contract / Independent Contractor (B2B)

Comp: CAD $20/hour, invoiced monthly (or propose a monthly retainer)

Hours: ~10 hrs/week. Set your own schedule.

Where: Remote. GTA-based for an occasional in-person client meeting (about 1 day/month), scheduled mutually.

What you'll do

  • Keyword research, competitor mapping, gap analysis (Ahrefs, Google/Bing, Screaming Frog).
  • On-page edits (copy, images, video) and internal linking.
  • Build topic clusters + simple monthly content calendar.
  • Use GSC insights to update pages and blogs.
  • Create/validate JSON-LD schema (Article/FAQ/LocalBusiness/Product).
  • Triage crawl/coverage/PageSpeed issues.
  • GBP management, citations, and local roundup ideas.
  • Nice to have: MS Clarity; basic SEM/SMM.

Must-haves

  • 2+ years hands-on SEO.
  • Can ship schema and on-page edits solo.
  • Local SEO/GBP experience.
  • Clear written English.
  • GTA-based contractor able to meet in person about once per month.

Outputs you own

  • Monthly cluster plan + calendar.
  • Weekly tech fixes (before/after).
  • GBP actions log.
  • Citation/link log.
  • Simple KPI update.
