Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Accounting Clerk/Office Administrator to join our growing team. This a flexible position, with hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to
- Enter driver tickets into software
- Process vendor invoices – verify coding and approval and enter in accounting software
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Update & maintain vendor and customer records as required
- Process customer invoices – verify pricing, coding, and acceptance of tickets
- Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
- Answer and forward phone calls
- Maintain various spreadsheets and data bases
- Filing documents & maintenance of records
- Assisting other departments as required
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in an office admin or accounting clerk position
- Formal training in accounting or office administration is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with a strong emphasis on details
Additional Skills:
- Ability to take and follow directions for work assignments in a supervised and unsupervised settings
- Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks
- Demonstrates initiative and a positive attitude
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
