Duties

  • Perform snow snow shoveling to clear sidewalks, driveways and entry ways for both commercial, condo complexes and residential houses.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for snow removal tasks such as backpack blowers, snow blowers, shovels and scrapers.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance during snow removal operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Candidates should have a valid class 5 license with a clean drivers abstract, a reliable method of transport to get to the shop in Northwest Edmonton and a working smart phone with data. Experience with snow clearing would be an asset but not required. This position requires working outside in a variety of winter weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Year round work could be offered to the right candidate.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
