We are seeking a dependable and skilled IT Specialist to support and maintain the organization's IT systems and infrastructure in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the efficient operation of hardware, software, and network systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain network performance and system security
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance
  • Document technical procedures and support activities
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding related to IT access and equipment
  • Follow company policies related to data security and confidentiality

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in an IT support or IT specialist role preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

Pay: $25.10-$29.60 per hour
