About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Tax Manager
to join a fully remote team. This role focuses on managing complex tax projects, supporting business development by helping "sell" projects, and delivering high-level tax, compliance, and planning services. This position has no partnership track and is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, technical, and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • You will work fully remotely, however you will be required to come into the office once a month if you need to meet with clients at the Oakville office as this is still a client facing role.
  • Prepare and review tax memos, compliance reports, technical analyses, and client-facing documents.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services for clients with multiple entities and holding companies.
  • Collaborate with legal teams by producing detailed tax memos to support strategies.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Support business development by presenting project solutions and capabilities to clients.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation required.
  • Completion of an in-depth tax course OR currently enrolled and intended on completing is mandatory.
  • 5–7 years of experience in corporate tax, compliance, and planning.
  • Strong experience with multi-entity clients and holding company structures.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for tax memos and client communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fully remote environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and client-focused mindset.
