  • Understanding and operation of artificial lift equipment.
  • Surveillance and monitoring of facility and subsurface processes using various SCADA systems.
  • Production accounting data entry and approvals.
  • Assisting with MOC process and minor facility projects.

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA or ASET upon graduation.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and ability to demonstrate a clean driving record.
  • Well versed in MS Office and comfortable learning and working in industry related software programs.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

After completing a stint at Onion Lake Thermal, the employee would then work at our Blackrod Commercial Facility located approximately 35km North/West of Wandering River, AB. and 240kms NE of Edmonton, AB.

The remote location of these facilities requires camp based accommodations working a 10x10 rotating schedule, 12-hours per shift (including weekends and holidays).

Multiple progression pathways are possible depending on interest, performance, and initiative.
