NES Fircroft is supporting
our client
in their search for a
Power Engineer
to join their operations team in Alberta.

What you'll do:


• Operate and monitor facility systems safely and efficiently, collaborating closely with the operations team.


• Troubleshoot and maintain area-specific equipment to meet production targets.


• Perform condition monitoring, sampling, and data recording (volume balances, log sheets, work permits, reports).


• Support maintenance activities and communicate company safety standards to contractors.


• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to new team members.


• Adhere to all HS&E and High Reliability Organization standards.

What we're looking for:


• Legally entitled to work in Canada.


• Minimum
3rd Class Power Engineering
certificate (2nd Class or progress toward it preferred).


• 3+ years' experience operating steam-generating equipment, control panels, or oil processing systems.


• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory standards.


• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, SAP, field data capture systems).


• Excellent communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.


• Valid
Class 5 Driver's License
.


Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off (rotating days and nights, 12-hour shifts)
