Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food preparation, customer service, and overall restaurant performance. Your ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests is crucial to our success.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage POS systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Lead, train, and mentor staff in areas such as food handling, customer service, and hospitality.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
  • Develop schedules and manage team performance to optimize service efficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Background in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is an advantage.
