Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano instruction, with experience working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students of all ages to develop their musical talents and love for piano through engaging and personalized lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or group piano lessons tailored to students' skill levels and learning styles
  • Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, music theory, and performance techniques
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances as needed
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their musical goals
  • Maintain a safe and organized teaching environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events

Skills

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching piano, preferably with children
  • Strong knowledge of piano techniques, music theory, and early childhood education principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs
  • Experience working in classroom settings or educational environments is a plus
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for nurturing young musicians
  • Additional skills such as cooking or classroom experience are considered beneficial but are not essential for this role
