Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Server will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures
  • Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
  • Follow all restaurant policies regarding sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
  • Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and processing payments accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in hospitality or the food industry demonstrates a commitment to excellent guest experiences
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
