Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and ensuring excellent food quality and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cooking, and customer service within a fast-paced, friendly environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering great food to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
  • Cook pizzas in accordance with menu specifications, ensuring proper temperature and presentation
  • Handle food safely by following sanitation and hygiene guidelines at all times
  • Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
  • Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
  • Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

Skills

  • Experience in serving or food service roles preferred; prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle food properly with attention to cleanliness and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
