Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, creativity in meal preparation, and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, maintaining high standards of food handling.
  • Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including appetizers and salads.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, particularly in pizza preparation or cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques specific to the pizza industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$25.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
