Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional programs for individuals or groups. As a Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness through proper nutrition, while also providing education and support to clients in their dietary choices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to evaluate clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Develop personalized meal plans that align with clients' health goals and medical conditions.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals or groups, ensuring clear understanding of dietary recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress using electronic medical records systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; registered dietitian credentials in Ontario.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer operation is essential.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
