This diverse team of tech-savvy problem solvers enables clients to take a proactive and prepared approach to prevent cyber crime and capitalize on new technologies and innovations available with cloud solutions. As a subject matter expert, you'll advise clients on data security to help prevent potential security breaches before they occur.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in documenting payment systems and payment flows across multiple channels for clients
  • Support in conducting basic information security and compliance assessments (e.g., gap analysis, self-assessment questionnaires) under guidance from senior team members
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls, taking notes, tracking action items, and following up as needed
  • Help prepare professional reports summarizing findings and recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to explain assessment results and remediation options to clients
  • Provide supporting input on security architecture related to PCI, Privacy, and Cybersecurity, with mentorship from senior staff
  • Assist in presenting results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Track and monitor project timelines, escalating issues to senior team members when necessary
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables are organized and up to date
  • Continue to learn and develop knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (or diploma) in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or related technical roles (internships, co-op, or entry-level positions welcome)
  • Familiarity with IT security and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) is an asset
  • Exposure to information security concepts such as network security, application security, data privacy, and incident response
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) and databases
  • Awareness of networking configurations (e.g., firewalls) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interest in pursuing industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI QSA) as part of career development
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
