Energetic, self-motivated and result driven couple for Resort Manager/Caretakers is needed at Blue Shore Resort in Savona, BC. Just 20 mins from Kamloops on Kamloops Lake.

Your employment will be full time during the busy season (May until September) and during fall/winter/spring continue to live on site year round. (To be discussed during interview).

Provide guests with a relaxing and enjoyable experience while staying at the 10 room boutique resort and seperate 4 bedroom house on a sister property.

Your 2 bedroom accommodation suite is in exchange for regular ground maintenance.

Your duties include full operations of the resort year round with your time off taken during the slower months of November to March.

Ensure swift and pleasant interactions with the guests online, on the phone, and in person.

You will handle reservations on site through Resnexus booking system so experience is an asset but not necessary. Guests self check in with a door code but you are expected to be available to assist if needed.

Management of a small Beach Rentals and Beach Store that runs from May 15th to September 30th. During this time you will also set up a continental breakfast from 7:30-9:30am.

Housekeeping of 10 rooms, including laundry and replenishing stock for guests during their stay. We do not offer daily cleanings unless a guest is staying for a week. Then we offer a mid-stay clean. Each small room takes approximately 30-90 minutes to clean and rarely are all 10 rooms cleaned on the same day .

There is an option for profit sharing if you stay in the position long term.

This job is open preferably to a couple that love the outdoors, gardening, and have a positive and enthusiastic outlook.

Experience:

Hospitality experience and property management is necessary.

Gardening and yard maintenance is necessary.

Computer skills are necessary.

Food Safe and First Aid are preferred, but training can be provided.

You must have your own reliable vehicle and must not have a criminal record.

You must live on site

The majority of the job will be done by yourselves and you are expected to handle your schedule including break times and days off.
