We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources team in managing HR operations and payroll processes at our Montreal head office. This role ensures the smooth execution of HR programs, accurate payroll administration, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Administer payroll processes: collect and verify timekeeping data, prepare and submit payroll, resolve discrepancies.
  • Support HR programs such as training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports for management review.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and HR for inquiries related to policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the HR team in managing employee relations matters.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination or payroll administration.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, plus Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and payroll regulations.
