Your Role: Carpenter

You'll be part of a talented crew working alongside our Lead Carpenter to bring high-quality renovations to life. From rough framing to detailed finishing, your work will help ensure every project meets Valdek's standards for quality, efficiency, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and scope of work

· Measure, cut, and install framing, drywall backing, insulation, and finishes

· Install doors, trim, cabinetry, and shelving with precision and attention to detail

· Assist the Lead Carpenter in daily planning and task coordination

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times

· Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates, subtrades, and clients

· Identify potential issues early and collaborate on effective solutions

· Work efficiently to help projects stay on schedule and within budget

What You Bring

· 5+ years of carpentry or renovation experience (basement and kitchen work preferred)

· Strong understanding of the full home renovation process from framing to finish

· A growth mindset — eager to learn, adapt, and improve

· Positive attitude and pride in your craftsmanship

· Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle

· Punctual, organized, and respectful on every site

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
