Duties

  • Oversee shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing training and ongoing development to enhance their skills in food preparation, serving, and customer service
  • Manage food safety and hygiene practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Utilize POS systems such as TouchBistro for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction management
  • Control inventory levels through effective stock monitoring, ordering, and waste reduction strategies
  • Supervise kitchen activities including cooking, food production, and quality control to ensure consistent product delivery
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within casual dining or quick service environments
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary standards
  • Familiarity with POS systems like TouchBistro POS for transactions and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Experience with inventory control, food safety protocols, and cash handling procedures
  • Background in hospitality or restaurant management preferred; Bar & Pub or restaurant experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff talent
