In summary, what is the role about?

Reporting to the Human Resources Supervisor, the Human Resources Intern will work alongside experienced HR professionals. Your mission will be to support the employee relations team on various files. Your role will be meaningful in promoting the company's values and culture.

What is the ideal profile for this position?

  • Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Have an interest in employee relations.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and enjoy the experience.
  • Have excellent proficiency in French.
  • Have good proficiency with the MS Office Suite.

As a Human Resources Intern, what will your responsibilities be?

  • Actively participate in the employee relations committee with the plant management team, take meeting notes, and manage the minutes of these meetings.
  • Provide support for B‑Connect and Trium.
  • Assist in planning activities (Halloween, Christmas party).
  • Participate in the implementation of various HR programs.
  • Plan service recognition and retirement celebrations.
  • Contribute to promoting prevention and health & safety programs within the plant.
  • Participate in and contribute to special projects as needed, depending on ongoing activities.
