About the Role

To ensure complete guest satisfaction and maintain a high standard of cleanliness at an efficient cost level. Understand, implement and be conscious of the resort's Environmental Management System stewardship initiatives whenever possible. Provided exceptional service to resort guests.

What You'll Do

· Complete all side duties and opening / closing duties.

· Use suggestive selling techniques to sell food & beverage items.

· Maintain full product knowledge of all food & beverage items.

· Place orders directly into POS system.

· Serve guests adhering to resort standards.

· Accept cash/credit/debit cards and make change for the guests.

· Ensure the shop is clean of dirty dishes, garbage & recyclables.

· Assist with training, stocking, ordering and inventory.

· Complete additional job-related duties as assigned.

What You Need to Have

· Current Food Safe certification (required).

· Strong customer service or public contact experience.

· 1 year with previous barista or serving experience is an asset.

· Touch screen POS experience would be an asset.

· Strong cash handling skills to control cash, credit and debit, find and correct mistakes (should they occur).

· Capacity to safely lift/move up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods per shift.

· Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Flexibility to work a changing schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).

· Fluent English communication skills (required); multi-lingual ability is a strong asset.
