ARO Inc. is seeking a paralegal (entry level) and /or a legal clerk to perform various duties related to maintaining an office setting and assist the legal team with drafting, filing pleadings for Small Claims Court. The successful candidate will be computer literate with superior organization and time management skills, ability to work well under pressure; and, to exercise sound judgment. Daily attendance in the office required. (Office is located in Burlington).Salary is commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a demonstrate ability to prepare and handle court appearances.

Assist counsel on more complex matters

Superior organization and time management skills

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple cases files simultaneously

Ability to work well without supervision and to exercise sound judgment.

Experience:

1-2 years in a law firm or office environment as a paralegal.

In good standing with the Law Society in Ontario

Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.

Salary based on the candidate's working experience.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
