We are currently seeking a Paralegal with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique and evolving area of law, assisting clients across Canada while developing your legal expertise.

Role Overview

As a Paralegal at Virani Law, you will play a key role in supporting our legal team and assisting clients who have suffered significant residential losses. You will be responsible for case organization, document preparation, and direct client communication. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with legal research, document drafting, and case file management.
  • Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and vendors regarding ongoing matters.
  • Conduct client intakes, gather essential case information, and maintain detailed records.
  • Organize and manage legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Provide support to lawyers in the firm.
  • Independent handling of claims.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in a legal or insurance-related field.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Paralegal Studies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-centered approach.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations (e.g., social services, insurance claims, or legal aid) is an asset.
