Overview

All-Tec Auto Care is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will ensure that clients receive the best possible experience while their vehicles are being serviced. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating repair orders, managing work orders from start to finish, handling customer communication and sourcing parts.

This position requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and parts procurement — ensuring seamless communication between customers, technicians, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their automotive service needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance with the service department.
  • Communicate clearly with technicians to ensure efficient job flow.
  • Prepare detailed repair estimates and obtain customer authorization.
  • Provide updates to customers on job status, timelines, and additional repairs.
  • Close work orders, verify labor and parts charges, and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Maintain organized records of service history and customer files.
  • Source, order, and receive automotive parts promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all service orders.
  • Manage core returns, warranty parts, and shipping logistics.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Skills

  • Previous Automotive Service experience is highly preferred for understanding the automotive service environment.
  • Mechanic experience or a solid mechanical knowledge base is essential for effective communication with technicians.
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Cash handling experience to manage transactions efficiently and accurately.
