The Opportunity 

Vice President Finance who will anchor Credivera's financial strength as we scale. This role is both hands on and strategic. You will guide our financial operations, support our CEO and Board, and provide clear direction that helps the company grow with confidence.

What You Will Lead 

Financial Operations and Reporting 

Oversee cash flow, invoicing, payables, reconciliations, credit cards, and bank administration. Maintain accurate accounting with complete working papers. Deliver monthly internal financial statements and annual statements for assurance engagements. Maintain strong controls.

Budgeting and Forecasting 

Build budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting. Analyze variances and provide modelling that informs decisions across the organisation.

Tax Planning and Compliance 

Manage GST, HST, PST, and US state level sales tax. Support SRED, T2, and US corporate filings. Complete T4, T5, T3, and related US filings.

Payroll and People Support 

Run payroll, manage benefits adjustments, support onboarding and offboarding, compensation reviews, and ESOP documentation.

Legal and Governance 

Work with External Legal Counsel on contracting, trademarks, corporate filings, and resolutions. Maintain contract templates and corporate records. Support IP activities as needed.

Board and Investor Relations 

Prepare financial updates, KPI reporting, resolutions, AGM materials, and maintain the cap table. Support clear and timely communication with shareholders.

Grants, Insurance, and Compliance 

Identify grant opportunities, support applications, maintain regulatory filings, and manage corporate insurance.

What You Bring

CPA Designation Preferred with 5+ years of experience or Accounting Degree with significant relevant experience.

Strong technical accounting skills and experience preparing financial statements.

Experience with Canadian and US taxation.

Five to ten years of progressive finance leadership.

Experience with forecasting and financial modelling.

Ability to work remotely and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
