Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher / Prep Cook to support our culinary team. This hybrid role is essential to daily kitchen operations and includes both dishwashing duties and basic food preparation. The ideal candidate is hardworking, team-oriented, and eager to learn in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen workspaces
  • Assist with food preparation including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
  • Support cooks and chefs during prep and service as needed
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Properly store clean dishes and food items
  • Remove garbage, recycling, and compost according to procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties

Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen prep experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
