As a Business Development Associate, a typical day might include the following:

• Generate business through internet sources and coordinating internet promotions
• Making outbound emails, calls and text messages to potential clients
• Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to the guest's responses
• Book sales appointments with our Product Advisors
• Present or complete remote sales transactions if the initial dealership visit is not possible
• Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations
• Maintains and achieves the given target and guest satisfaction objectives set by management
• Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
• Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
• Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
• Provide financial information regarding lease and finance rates
• Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualification and Requirements

• Recommended 1-2 years of direct work experience in a sales, customer service, dealership, or business development capacity
• Demonstrated ability to convert prospects while maintaining established departmental quotas.
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Flexibility on working days and hours
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Valid OMVIC registration, a plus.
