About Us

Embark Homes is a residential construction company in Vancouver focused on high quality builds and thoughtful design. We are hiring a Content Creator to support our growing brand. This role focuses primarily on Embark with occasional support for our design company.

Role Overview

You will work directly with leadership to help plan marketing and content ideas and then execute those ideas through filming, editing, and producing content. The role is hands on fast moving and best suited for someone who enjoys filming on site and creating high quality short form video content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Visit job sites to capture video and photo content
  • Film vertical videos for project walkthroughs progress updates behind the scenes and transformations
  • Create educational content including tips and build process, explaining materials and finishes and common homeowner questions
  • Capture still photography for social media and digital use

Editing and Publishing

  • Edit short form videos for Instagram Reels TikTok and YouTube Shorts
  • Build content drafts with music transitions and text
  • Maintain content calendars and posting schedules
  • Organize media libraries and project footage

Marketing Support

  • Help plan weekly and monthly marketing and content themes
  • Turn ideas into polished and engaging content
  • Assist with short blog posts and basic SEO formatting
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms

Requirements

  • Experience creating and editing Reels or TikToks
  • Strong visual eye and sense of composition
  • Comfortable filming on construction sites
  • Skilled in CapCut Premiere Pro or similar editing tools
  • Organized reliable and self directed
  • Interest in interior design construction or home improvement content
  • Valid drivers licence required for travel to job sites within Metro Vancouver
