Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning essential skills and techniques while contributing to the maintenance and repair of vehicles.

Duties

  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues under the supervision of senior technicians.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Help with heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts and equipment as needed.
  • Follow schematics and assembly instructions to ensure proper installation of components.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

  • Previous experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a keen interest in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
  • Familiarity with automotive maintenance practices.
  • Basic understanding of schematics related to vehicle systems.
  • Experience in assembly tasks related to automotive components is beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills to enhance client interactions.
